    Some of the songs were a little random but overall a good game, and becomes quite addictive to try and complete all the unlockables.

    Band Hero is what PC gamers would call an expansion pack but what long suffering console gamers are forced to call a sequel. Fans of the Guitar Hero series so far will notice a few little tweaks like being able to design all 4 members of your band even when you're only playing as one of them, bigger buttons and a challenge system that inserts a bit of longevity into Career mode. To those new to the series it's a rhythm/karaoke game where you play/sing along to the music with a controller shaped like a musical instrument. To make a long story short look up the track list for this game online, if you like the songs you'll like the game. Also look up the track list for Guitar Hero 5. The games are essentially mirrors of each other with the later being aimed at older fans. This game is a lot of fun but one gripe that will stick out even to fans who love the songs is that it's overly censored with words like "friction", "bedpost" and "whiskey" all being cut out of songs that you wouldn't be surprised to find on your 12 year old sister's ipod.
