The John Lennon Rickenbacker guitar for rock band is very good. The only drawbacks are the sound of the motion detector used to enter the beatlemania mode, the whammy bar that keeps heading down and the solo buttons which are quite small for me.

If people know anything its that they only sold these guitars seperatly.
Dont listen to the other reviews, the game is not shown in the pictures or even in the description, if people cant read or see then its their own fault not amazons.
As for the guitar it is top quality and one of the best guitars on the PS3, as a Rock Band Hardcore gamer I would suggest you get it.

I'm not realy a PS3 nerd but love The Beatles, so bare this in mind I don't know much about PS3 games and controllers. Although this guitar was a bit pricey (cheapest price was Amazon), it is a lovely 'toy'. Well made and very nice to look at. I already had the game and had played it with a Guitar Hero guitar. Buying the Rickenbacker to go with the game certainly made a difference to game play as it does that little bit more. I am certainly pleased that I payed for the correct controller for the game. The only problem was which to choose as there are three differnt guitar controllers available. A worth while addition to the game.
